Hi, and welcome back to another devlog!
You've probably been wondering where I've been for the past 5 weeks.
In short, I had an original idea for a productivity tool I could quickly develop and release on the Unity Asset Store. So I got to work, leaving the development of Assembly RTS behind temporarily.
After about 10 days I had finished the tool and submitted it to the Unity Asset Store.

Enthusiastic about this swift success, I gave something else a shot - An idea which I had for months. A tool that could strongly improve the development experience of all Unity developers. I knew that it could take quite a bit of time to implement, but I just had to give it a try!
After a few weeks, I finally gave up on completing the tool. I got very close, but no cigar!
I stumbled upon a nasty bug late in the development cycle. It was nearly impossible to debug, appearing seemingly at random. But I think I now know what the issue is. To fix the problem, I would need to re-write a lot of the software from scratch. I'll give it another try in the future, but for now I need to set my focus back on Assembly RTS!
I'll tell you more about the tool I did submit once it has been reviewed and released on the Unity Asset Store.
Thanks for reading. If you found this small post interesting, please consider following the development of Assembly RTS, my physics-based strategy game, and check out my YouTube channel!
