chops cps arty addon - ARMA: Armed Assault

i think the guy is chops? idk but whoever it is credits to them i don't own this nor made this addon!

this is a must imho for arma armed assault an epic addon not on moddb, basically allows you to call fire missions after you click on map to add a marker. install to your addon folder the pbo file. next you need the template and place it in your documents/arma/missions/sara island one (backup original) you will load it up and hopefully you will see arty and squad leader. (you need the script to make it work ON EVERY MAP)

YOU MUST ADD THESE LINES IN Initializing bars (under your units, double click on any unit you will see it)

squad leader =

calart = this addAction ["Call artillery","CPS_arty\scripts\callarty.sqs"]

M119 IF =

this exec "CPS_arty\scripts\cps_artyinit.sqs"

you need to add these respective lines to respect squad leader and the cps artillery newly added piece M119 IF anyways you need to group the arty together 4 arty, your squad leader just needs the script line added no need to group with arty pieces. no matter what you group squad leader with it will work.

NOW YOU SHOULD hopefully see call artillery option! rest is easy. :) just call and aimpoint open map and double click add marker on area you want to call artillery strike on!!

artillery works upto 4/5KM i think.
