Yes, unfortunately we have to admit our servers went haywire when our VPS provider didn't tell us that the VPS had severely limited options in what we were allowed to do. So it turns out we paid a rather sizeable sum for nothing...
This has left us at a snag that the new servers cannot function, and so no one has been able to play Beta V1.0. Which is quite a shame as we were looking forward to the release here at Infinitus Designs.
But, however, all hope is not lost, and we expect our refund for our VPS during the week, and we will be setting up the new VPS with a host that has confirmed we will be able to setup the servers onto.
When the new server is purchased and we have setup the server, Arania - Forgotten Lands Beta V1.0 will be edited to contain the new version of the game, with a couple of more files and the new ip written into the configuration. So by Saturday 14th or Sunday 15th of January, we should be able to gaurantee access to the world of Arania.
Once again we apologize for the inconvenience of being incapable of playing, but at least players should be able to enjoy Arania - Forgotten Lands this weekend!
We would like to stress that Arania - Forgotten Lands has just entered Beta, and Alpha was non-existent, so whilst we have added a lot of features to the files of the game, much of it is not in effect within the game yet, and will be added overtime as beta progresses.
