'Arania - Forgotten Lands' is an upcoming RPG being developed by Infinitus Designs. The game revolves around an entire continent called Arania that has not been seen by the known world for centuries after a supposed natural disaster tore the the two continents, Pasloan and Arania, apart from each other, leaving a treacherous sea between them that no one has successfully crossed...Until you show up! You are exiled from Pasloan after your kingdom fails to defeat the dark emperor. You are stripped of all your possessions and given a small boat and you are forced to sail for the horizon. But no one can survive the stormy seas between the continents and you encounter a vicious storm and by some miracle find yourself washed up on a beach. From there your new life begins In Arania...The Forgotten Lands.

Arania - Forgotten Lands revolves around bringing back classic features of RPGs, allowing players to immerse themselves all over again.

Arania - Forgotten Lands is an old project of ours that we decided we'd take seriously this time. You'll find many of it's old content lying around here, but it will be replaced with the new content as we make it.

NOTE: Any downloads or news updates pre-october 2012 do not represent the current game, and images before october 2012 now represent concepts of what the game will look like.

New recruits - New Developments

In the past few days I've had some serious success with recruitment, and 3 friends of mine have now joined the Infinitus Designs team to help develop Arania - Forgotten Lands.

The new developers are:

Jyin
Zapthebrannigan
and Ragnarok

All 3 of our new developers will be working on graphics, and I'll soon be deciding who takes on the role of Lead Graphics Developer so that I won't have to boss, err... order.... hmm... instruct them!

Now, as I've noted in previous articles I have been massively held back by the lack of graphics developers, and it's also holding back on showing the public what the game will eventually look like, as everyone's impressions are still completely based upon the old (and frankly, rubbish) 2D version of Arania.
Once the graphics team is organized and up and running properly, I can finally say that Arania - Forgotten Lands will start developing full steam ahead!

As soon as we are beginning development, I'll make sure to instruct all graphics developers to regularly post content to show you how we're getting on.
