I've been thinking for a while now, when to release Arania officially.
So i've decided to come up with a rough schedule to stay on track for:
Alpha - Alpha should pass relatively fast, as it's just the infrastructure of the game being setup as opposed to additional details such as a tutorial or the main storyline.
As a side note, this list of release dates will be edited as I near upcoming patches and decide to change what will be implemented in each patch.
MP - MegaPatch - Will be a big patch and will take significantly longer to release than usual patches.
Alpha Release Dates (These Estimations are pretty accurate)
V1.0 - "Foundations" - Released
V1.1 - "Working Boats" - Released Feb 13th 2012
V1.2 - "The real continent" - Late February
V1.3 - "Making a Living -The Resources Patch" - March
V1.4 - V1.6 - "The good, the bad, and the miscellaneous" - March/April
V1.8 - "Working Parties" - End of April
Beta (From this point on, updates will feature significantly more detail, and will typically take longer per patch. If I fall behind on these patches, I think it'll be obvious why)
V1.0 - "We're gonna need a bigger Questlog." - MP - May/June
V1.1 - "The Tutorial" - June
V1.2 - "Location, Location....yeah more locations." - MP - August
V1.3 - "Dungeons R Us" - ???
V1.4 - "All Those places I could never find on the map" - ???
V1.5 - "Pasloan..." - MP - ???
V1.6 - "Rise to Epicness...The Storyline Patch." - MEGA MP - ???
V1.7 - "let The King's Entertain You - The Patch Of War" - ???
V1.8 - "Let's Get This Started - More Items and More Quests" - ???
V1.9 - "Almost There - Miscellaneous Patching" - ???
Release
V1.0 - "Arania - The Forgotten Lands" - ???
