Annex: Conquer the World is an anime themed real time strategy game that brings fast paced combat with a diverse arsenal. Play as one of four factions: The East Ocean Alliance, the NEO Republic, the Shadow Organization, or the Renegades as they struggle for dominance all over the world, competing for a priceless red mineral. The game now contains 4 factions, over 30 tech trees, original maps, and tileset. Built using open source RTS MegaGlest, the focus of the game is multi-player and single-player skirmishes. However there are also scripted scenarios/missions!
While an effective strategy early battles, Shadows Organization Priority on firepower + cost efficiency over armor tends to put them at an disadvantage vs Alliance high tier weapons. So to combat this Shadow engineers Developed Shielding technology.
These expensive Generators can protect surrounding units with a powerful shield. Unfortunately, Shields can only be sustained for a few seconds, so choose their activation wisely :)
When the shield activates the lenses (i guess I'll call them that :P) detach and circle around the shield.
Funny part is that in real life we are currently experimenting with cold plasma as a form of shielding for spacecraft against space junk :P again a purple or blue energy effect would do nicely and make it actually believable.

green would work just as well.
I think that purple or blue would blend in too much with their current colour scheme. You need something that stands out for energy effects, or it looks out of place.
The Orginization really loves those hexagonal light patterns don't they?
Its sort of their Trademark Almost all units have it somewhere :)
