Anna’s Quest is a fable-driven, black comedy ‘point and click’ adventure game that’s inspired by The Brothers Grimm & Hans Christian Andersen… with a sci-fi twist! The story follows Anna, a young girl who, in the search of a cure for her ailing Grandpa, has been captured and kept under lock and key in a tower deep in the dark wood by Winfriede, an evil old witch. Winfriede has plans – plans that involve large, mysterious machines and cruel experiments with Anna. What the witch doesn’t count on, however, are the powerful telekinetic forces brought up within Anna, and Anna’s own plans of escape…

Hey all! So some of you have already noticed Anna’s Quest being taken off of Steam Greenlight, and in turn Volume 1 is now no longer for sale. There’s very good reason for this! Anna’s Quest is by no means becoming discontinued – in fact, it is quite the opposite. Sadly, now’s not the time to disclose the future of the game – that will come in time. Right now, I’m simply posting this to let you all know I’m still alive, the game’s still alive, and most importantly if you have supported the game already, you will be kept in mind

Is there any way to play the demo in fullscreen mode? In 1600x1200 or 1920x1200?
Hi Bitenca! To change to fullscreen, you need to have access to the folder the game installs to. You can find that by right clicking the game in the Desura launcher and selecting 'Properties'. If you go to the folder where the exe is located, double click 'winsetup.exe' and deselect 'run in a window instead of full screen', then save. The game will run in full screen every time now.
I know this is rather complicated, but I'm still new to Desura and will need to look into a way of making this process easier for everyone. Thanks for your interest though, hope you enjoy it!
It's good to see Anna's Quest available here! Such a solid, LucasArts-like point-and-click adventure! Can't recommend it enough if you're even remotely interested in the genre!
Played the demo. Absolutely loved it!
I will definitely buy the full version just because im very curious on what will happen next!
