Allegiance Game Reviews

Allegiance is a hybrid space combat game, combining X-Wing vs Tie Fighter with the strategy and team play of Natural Selection. Allegiance has a far larger scope however, supporting up to 200 players per server and pushing close to a MMO game. Back when first released in 2000, Allegiance recieved favourable reviews despite buggy and inconsisent netcode. Later releases and a strong community these and the game's sourcecode is currently open source.
