I would love to play Alien Swarm if the server didn't crash every time a map ends.
That was always the major hold-up when trying to play offline in a LAN
i'm running a server, and i never had this issue with any of the campaigns in the mappack... so... it must be something on ur end.
Very strange, I haven't tried the server in a long time, but when I did the crashing during loading next map made it pretty useless.
I did some research and found that a lot of people had the same problem, but it was never patched.
i don't know what to tell u. it works fine here... and not just for me.
u can always do some troubleshooting...
Yup. Just spent 16 hours there. Thank the internet gods for
asw_ignore_need_two_player_requirement 1
...which allows single player with online maps, and
cl_selectm # #
which gives you an AI buddy!
