Sometime around the year 80, one of Aincrad's most horrifying events took place. After the sky went dark, an enormous yellow shine broke through the ground, piercing a strong beam of light up to the heavens. Chaos ensued as massive armies of Stone Golems began wreaking havoc on Artuax (Floor 1). After weeks of long, grueling battles, the men and women of Artuax managed to wipe out the majority of these newfound enemies- but many still remained. Today, this Golem War is often referred to as one of Artuax's most painful hardships. Though a large number of settlements were destroyed or badly damaged, villages like this one were rebuilt and improved upon by the hardworking-folk of Artuax
