See this images in HD (or original) to see all the details of this side by side comparison.

The real time rendering (left) was made using SM 2.0 (Shader Model 2.0) features only, and a basic lighting setup. The ray tracing rendering (right) was made using all the effects needed (real reflection, shadows, z transparency, etc), and with a top quality render.

Description

This is a side by side comparison between a real-time test (left) done inside the engine (as you will see it in the game) and a ray tracing one (right), done inside blender, and very similar to those used to render CGI movies.
