The world has plunged into chaos, experimentation with a man made virus went wrong one day slowly infecting the world turning almost every living being into some mutated beast, the government sent the most important people into space with experimental cloning equipment and a selected amount of DNA. The idea was to hopefully return to earth with an army, eradicate this virus and re-populate the earth. Shortly after we left earth fell silent, we have no idea whats down there marine and its your job to find out.

machine gun plus original concept
A mod which development starts with weapon modelling will die soon. That's what I have been observing for a long time, especially regarding FPS-mods.
i'm sure you're glad to hear that this is no mod ;D
not a mod, and the reason the weapons are being done first is because i am a weapon modeller and this game is my idea so ill get what im best at out of the ways first so i do not need to worry abaout it later on as we will already have everything made, my frinds are also working on prop models and udk scripting, but i cant do any of that atm due to my slow pc not being able to handle it ( but i will get my knew one in about 2 weeks) the oly reason this game would die is if i ran out of helpers.

yea pimp my gun is a great little program pitty the decided to stop just after i found it.
i had hoped it was downloadable as that would have been great, if they continued on it it would be a realy good program as now it is lacking a bit in the content department :/

My idea of the name is: SG mk3. Now I'll explain why I chose this kind of name: SG stands for Submachine Gun (which this gun looks like), the mk3 is the gun's version, which I just said because I like number 3 :P but you can make it mk1-2-3-4-5... which one you wish. you can also have a company's included in the gun's name like: ArmTech SG mk3. Just a random idea....
i like that idea, random question tho might sound dumb but i wana no, y were they called submachineguns or smg because sub means below right? like sub zero = below zero. So below machine gun? haha random but it would be nice if someone could shed some light on my ignorance thank you.:)

thats quite wrong, as the desert eagle fires .357 MAGNUM 44.MAGNUM and 50. AE and those caliber rounds fitted with nice aiming can blow the **** out of your arm...as instead compared to the ump-45 or the mp5, even the p90, power beats in the pistols mentioned, as there are much less powerful ones out there, rather than sub machine guns having a higher rof (rate of fire) that compensates as it is able to deliver rounds in faster manners, firing 9mm, 45.ACP and other rounds..
I don't understand what you are trying to prove now, because basically what wikipedia says its true, but I never stated anything like SPECIFICALLY firing .357 or 9mm.
So yes, SMG's might not fire rounds designed for desert eagle (which are very strong) but as yuou said, they have higher rate of fire, but fire less powerful bullets...
what you said, (as i understood it) was that an smg was designed to be more powerful than a pistol but more than a rifle, but there are alot of pistols which are twice as powerful than an smg, what makes the smg compensate for that its the rate of fire.
