ATI Radeon 9800 when it comes out.

And i'm not getting it for the performance or the prettiness, not even for the royalness of ATI.

Btw, the Radeon 7200 from 2000 had a gargoyle as well. It was strong though.

it's avg. 20% faster, basically.

But i wouldn't use the card; i'd have the box in mint condition.

surely someones selling the box alone on ebay, or you could just ask for a display box @ a store.

i dont see the fuss about buying expensive vid cards..

i got a 64mb GeForce 3 Ti200 and it goes mad. i get constant 70+fps on HL and a great fps on BF1942.

what more could you want?

I can't afford ANY good video card. I'm stuck with my old nVIDIA TNT2.

Well I'd figure that since the 9700 Pro already surpasses the Nvidia GeForce 4 line, that the 9800 could only further demolish the competition. It's probably in line to defeat the GeForce 5 when it's released [I suppose, am I wrong?]
