Xbox. PS2 has more top-rated games and classic series, but Xbox can school it in performance and graphics....plus it's cooler and Xbox Live PWNS! |

I reckon the GC rocks. And I will say this only once....NOT ALL THE GAMES ARE KIDDIE!!! Look at the Resident Evil Series, now only for GameCube, then theres Metroid Prime, Eternal Darkess. I wouldn't consider those "kiddie" games. |

Wow, about 3. Lets not kid ourselves, Nintendos tried for many a year to change its imagine but its own first party games are kid orientated. Fuck, who cares if they get a crapload of 3rd party making games that are mature; I wanna see something inhouse Nintendo can do thats mature and appealing towards me and not my neice. -- Why wont it save me? |

Very true. Nintendo employs Shigeru Miyamoto, one of the greatest game developers to be had, not to mention the longest successful experience in video gaming of any console or company ever did. Why can't they make games that exceed the maturity level of a 5th grader? It boggles my mind! It's the reason that the N64 failed, and that the GCN is failing...They need more mature direct titles. - Edited By 40ozFreak On Mon 24th, Mar 2003 @ 7:38:13am |

To be honest they could make a range of mature games so easily. Zelda for example, they could make an evil version of him, not to confuse with Lynx's clean cut image, that allows you to explore the deepest pits of dungeons and dragons and other such depressing areas and have gory battles, horrible enemies and craploads of blood. See how Zelda likes him then Same goes for Mario, except maybe have a new Mario world character that is insanely evil, and wanders round in a Mario-eque enviroment with the tangents of Silent Hill. Nintendo also needs to stop milking its main franchises, how about making a new series of characters that are humane and take part in a mature game? -- Why wont it save me? |

Evil Mario = Wario Why not have some type of 3rd person platformer/slasher game where Wario runs around beheading small aggressive animals and the like? Nintendo does indeed need a new franchise. They also need to stop making cartoony games, and utilize the power that the GCN is most certainly capable of. If you've ever seen RE0 then you know that it is quite competent to make great looking graphics that don't resemble a 3D Pokemon game. I like your ideas, azz0r. Let's write a strongly-worded letter to NoJ. |

You never mentioned Konker PS2, most of their fantasy games have gargoyles. The console press/media often are annoying and sometimes misinformation, most don't do in-depth reviews, or hype about it by company/graphics. In that case, go support Joltstar. - Edited By CheapAlert On Mon 24th, Mar 2003 @ 3:00:01pm -- < insert subject games here >

I like GameSpy, sometimes their reviews are insightful, and they'll break away from the standard blabber and get into the technical aspects of it. I've checked out other gaming sites before and not liked them as much. |

the only true reason to own an n64 was because of conker that little squirrel paved the way for all mature games of its type... which there hasnt been one of since conker was released. -- Sachmo The Wang and me are property of modDB© Dead Aim Clear Score: 41mins 16secs beat that biaotch!! |

I saw the commercials for that on MuchMusic (canadian MTV) Ye wouldn't believe how shocked I was, I've never seen a cartoony console game get a M rating. What does the game have? Gore? Swearing? Nudity? I'll bet there's a lot of swearing --

I hear there's a lot of swearing and sexual themes. I wanna play it, I still have my faithful N64. |

You can get drunk and wall around peeing, as far as I remember. Never actually played it. -- Why wont it save me? |
