Wuggawoo deleted Thread

OK I'm tired of this nonsense. Why, Mr. Destroyer of Fun is the one thread of remote fun we have left such a nuisance to you? We don't use hardly a fraction of our available bandwidth per month, the site is uber-fast, and everything is perfect. Why da f00k does it matter to you so much? Is it just because you're the boss and you like to be that way? I mean no disrespect to you Gregz0rz, but in all honesty if you were going to go on a tangent about..erm, spam...why at such a random time, and why did you pick the biggest thread we have left? I think it was uncalled for, and I'm pretty upset that there was no real reason other than your panties were in a wad.

He can't ban us for creating spam threads. Sure, the spam *forum* got taken away, but there's nothing in the rules that condemns a sole (or two) spam *thread*! We can't get banned if we make another wuggawoo-alike, he'll just get mad again and delete it too.

Why would we be mental, Birdie? The entire S+F forum was disposed of, and now the only remnants of its entertaining era was deleted for no good reason.

Ok when threads are deleted they are deleted just post counts are not updated. He did have a justified reason and that was it was reopened. Personally I am not happy about this at all, sure I don't like spamming but bloody hell people have sometimes gotta ask me before they do things christ.

v2.0 would prevent such problems as I can control / moniter what everyone can and cannot do to a T. Unfortunatly it is still ages off hmm... i am going to implement a temporary measure and that is deleted forums are not actually 'deleted' just hidden

The post count isn't even something I think most of us care about, because we're all so active. It's just that it didn't need to be deleted. It has like 200 something pages, that's an accomplishment, no matter how much he likes it or not.

I just updated the system, deleted threads goto a 'deleted' thread area so that if this happens again they are not forever lost

can't greg get there ne ways and delete it?

Was this thread killing the server?

I thought Greg put modDB on the best thing on the net how is one spam thread gonna hurt anything?
