Writer Looking for a Team/Someone Looking for Writer Thread

Now, this is a stretch, because I know that people have moved on in recent years, but after playing a few mods for Half-Life 1, I wanted to make one, but was never competent enough to. Now, I am an experienced writer, have written novels, and taken classes, on the modding side, I'm a wreck.

Now if there is anyone out there that uses the old fossil Hammer, and would want to help with a Half-Life project, then great! But I don't want to give my hopes up. Tuts can only get me so far, I can't finish my project on my lonesome.

Buuuuut... I am also putting myself out there in terms of a writer, and a VO. I have experience in both, lending my chops to some flash games on Newgrounds, and I already stated my writing background.

That said, I'm even willing to go with HL1 on the Source, or even as far as HL2, I just have a great idea concerning the HL realm, and it's my dying wish to get it out.
