Hello, I'm Cpkeyes. A young writer who likes sci-fi more than he honestly should. I like writing military stories, but don't expect me to give scientific explanations for your games macguffin that actually sound reasonable. I write characters, organizations and plot points.

My favorite sci-fi works are Star Wars, Forever War, Hyperion, Borderlands and I am enjoying Firefly. While I would be honored to be the so called 'head-writer' of youre game, I think if it be better given to someone else. Also, I will note that I'm a perfectionist and try to keep my continuity as tight as possible. So I tend to spot errors in my own works. Especially if you give me time.

My email is shaggsterortiz@icloud.com. So I don't respond to this thread, just shoot me an email.

Thanks for your time!

Sorry, I hate to nitpick*, but I'd expect a perfectionist to get through a 150 word bio without any typing/grammatical errors :)

Games writing isn't easy. If you want to make it, ensure you a) practice and b) always put your best foot forward.

* Not entirely true.

Hmm, could of sworn I got everything. Even put it through a grammar checker. Then again it was a horrible website.

I am more of a perfectionist when it comes to story and continuity, not grammar.

Well, spelling/grammar checkers won't catch everything.

And on a serious note, as a writer for a game, you will be expected to have strong spelling, punctuation and grammar. That's a very different skill-set to storytelling and narrative design, of course - but to be successful, you'll have to marry both. The fact is: is the writer isn't going to spell-check the game, who will?

You may also find that if you're writing for other people's games, you may be forced to use horrible tools and interfaces. Don't blame the tool.

I'm an intern for the state government. I have done plenty of work with horrible (and slow) tools . :P

And I understand. Through spelling isn't normally an issue (Unless on skype, were I have to be quick) as if I think someone looks wrong I search it in google.
