World War Four mod needs help Thread

Our World War 4 project needs some people to help us complete it. We don't have many members and progress is going slow. We are willing to take help from people but they don't have to join the team.

What happened to WW3?

I never said they weren't, i just said that's not what the topic is about. I'm trying to get some modders together not kick up a conversation.
And what the hell has a 'Nazi State' got to do with anything?

Your going to need to provide a good story overview, website, current progress etc to get a more legiable response.

Well i know our site looks shit but we're working on a mod not a website. Our progress hasn't quite gotten so far which is why we need more modders. We've got some really good renders from one of our modellers but that's about it.
The story is alright but we still working on it..
By the way, it's called World War 4 after the reference made by Albert Einstein... it doesn't feature the soldiers fighting with sticks and stones or anything like that.
Also, in the story the war is not known as World War 4, it is just a war of a great scale like the first world war.
The Story;

Every year, All the nations of the world meet to discuss world issues. But at this one issue, the AN demands that the two other super powers (Russia and China) hand over their nuclear weapons and capabilities so that the AN can claim supremacy (or so they believe). Obviously, China and Russia are more than reluctant to do so and so the AN declares war on them. All 3 nations decide that they want supremacy over the other nations and so an all out war ensues.

The player can choose any of the three nations to play as.
Each nation has their own specialities or technologies to research such as Flame-throwing units (Russia), Chemical units and amphibious tanks (China) or Special tank units (AN).

That's just a basic guidline of the mod's story

I don't think yelling at people for posting is gonna endear you into the hearts of modders. Noone will help you if you're rude.

I asked for help and instead i've got people telling me to be polite. Hey, I know. Why don't i create a new topic saying 'Fuck off you wankers, i know how to write a post' then maybe i'll get some people offering to help me with my mod..
I'm not calling you wankers, i'm just using that as an example.
And i think that's good story, it's better than saying ' a president started a war one day because he wanted to and he felt like it and he hated China and Russia, his name was Rudolph Hatler'

Right, now you are all starting to piss me off. I asked for help not comments and i think i'd still get comments even if i was polite. This topic is for anyone who wanted to join my team; i explained my story, i explained the mod's concept but i still haven't got anyone who wants to help me... just a load of people wanting to kick up a conversation about how polite i should be or reminding me the name of my team (AMNESIAC STUDIOS!! WOOHOO HE REMEMBERS!!

I started this forum to recruit new members on my team and i've had nothing but criticism, how annoying do you think that is? there are something like 15 replies to his topic and none of them have anything about joinig my team.

Maybe if you were less rude people would want to join. I would never join a team with someone as rude as you. We are not flaming you, just telling you how it is here. You will get nowhere on this site with that attitude.

And I think it sounds just like some president named Rupdoplh Hatiler getting bored one day and declaring war against other countries with nuclear weapons... and what happend to world war 3? If you're making a world war 4 game, you will have to tell the backgrounds like what happend in world war 3.

And if it's a world war, don't think you can call it world war if it's only involving people on Earth and only 3 countries fighting in it. If it's only Earth and you call it world war it needs to have all countries on Earth fighting against every other country.

It's just ridiculous to call World War I and II world war.

If you wanted this thread to be JUST applications, you should have specified. People are going to need some more information about your mod before they apply - you diddnt even post what engine it was on, to save you some time ill do it for you.

WW4 is a total conversion for Command and Conquer Generals

Overview
World War 4 is an intense conflict somewhere in the near future. It aims to put the player (or commander) in a state of real urgency and feel what the people in the storyline would feel.
We deliberately haven't given this mod a set time/date so that we can add different weapons and units to the player's disposal. The mod also sets to give the player a variety of different game modes other than a plain old skirmish C&C fans will be used to.... so we've added TRENCH WARFARE, AIR WARFARE and improved URBAN WARFARE features to meet these targets.

It's not atually known as World War 4, that is just the title, it's a reference because the mod doesn't have a set time or date. It is called a World War because the 3 most powerful nations are fighting against each other, and in the story on our WW4 website it says how China invades other countries and the AN is The Allied Nations which is lead by the US, it is made up of other European countries who have joined the AN.

The Allied Nations have a president... China and Russia have a dictator? huh? That dictator word makes China and Russia sound like some evil countries. It would be fair to call them all just with the word LEADER.

The story line was going allright until suddenly you decided to make China lose? Isn't that up to the player which side wins? If I played this game and chose to play Chinese and when I complete the campaign, I just see the Chinese leader getting killed and enemies taking over China... Well.. China lost the war, what happens to Russia and The Allied Nations.

Why don't you just call it United Nations because it sounds like United Nations.

Anyway this war doesn't sound like a world war at all.

Ok, I'll change it so it's just previous history and not telling the reader what happens.
I don't really know much about politics but you'd expect the AN (or UN, whatever you want to call them) to have a president. I'll change that bit too so Russia has a Tsar and China still has the dictator.
Any other suggestions while we're on the topic?
