Hey everyone!

My name is Nicolas Najm, and I'm the Marketing Coordinator at Snowed In Studios. We've been hard at work on our upcoming original title: Windforge! We have some great news at the studio that we want to share!

Not only was our Kickstarter campaign for Windforge a success, but the game was greenlit by the Steam Community January 7.

That means we are now working hard to add the last few features and polish to the game, which will release Tuesday, March 11 on the Steam Store.

We want to extend a big thank you to our Kickstarter backers and to the Greenlight community for getting behind us. We could not have done it without you!

We also decided to make a pre-release of the game available for sale here on the Windforge website, because we received so many requests over the last month for early access. Check it out if you want to get a good sense of what’s coming in March.

Next week we will have more of an update on the game and how it is developing.

Be sure to stay tuned to Snowed In Studios via our blog and social media for more news!

Looks very neat. Interesting world, intriguing creation gameplay and procedural levels, and good use of the rope-swinging mechanic.
I also love the way resource-consumption ties into the story. Good luck on finishing it up! I'm really hoping you guys decide to implement multiplayer support.

Flying whales that you can kill and turn their carcass into zeppelins, grappling hooks - yeah you got me hooked! :D I'm a bit tired of 2D platform-like games but I might just try this out.

I want to second what studio9 said about multiplayer, but I know that might or might not be just about impossible.

Anyway, good luck and nice work so far!

Thanks for the feedback Studio9 and Sjonsson!

We really want to implement Multiplayer. It's all a matter of resources.

Sky whales! Lovely :D Nice job with the trailer, what did you use to compose it?

I used to play a 2D shoot-up-up called Soldat - reminds me a little of that. Plus, of course, the way-cool grappling hook.

Good luck with the release!
