Im very confused at the moment i started a new nod (no comments asked)
but the thing is im fresh off the market new to mapping (yes i can make a not bad map) but what about models codeing and the rest christ this is to much to handle.
i understand that these days more people MAKE mods then (dare i say it) help in mods i need help and fast please help me guys im getting sick of assholes saying screwyou and getbent its anoying

it just that we hear these kinds of things every day over here. i suggest you post stuff up everywhere, not just at moddb. say, www.halflife2.net,, etc. all those websites.

your ignorance of what is allowed and not allowed and what is common and isnt are your own fault.. personally i have to say this forum is much nicer than most *couch*countermap*cough*

• explain quite frankly why i dislike posts like this
• explain why people like you shouldnt have to be explained to why i hate this
• how to fix it (yes i do help and give thoughtful critisizm when i can)
• how this forum is not the only forum in the world
• how you dont need to cross post to get your point across

then usually the person will respon in a fashion suchas-

"but cmon man ! stop being such a dick! im just trying to make a mod.
is it too much to ask for for someone to do it for me ?"

and then ill simply respond.. (sometimes more words than not)

Yes, it is too much to ask me to make your mod..

and then if your not satisfied with my answer i tell you to cut your head off

done and done.. it truly isnt a mean system.. it is efficient and actually if the person understands his error then all is cool and he can continue his mod and i will have no trouble ASSISTING him not MAKING his mod for him.. truly? when is everyone going to learn to be independant?

you wanna get the mod profile up, i assume you already have. put loads of info in it, screenshots etc... really let people know you're putting as much work as you can into it.. even if you cant model, then put some help wanted requests and drop a few hints, if you keep persisting you will get results but dont expect to get too much from this thread... at least not yet

well i finished the story about it just click here for the profile Moddb.com it wont tell you everything to be honest i updated the profile so that people would see the story of it and not how it brings togetnher a community not casting out noobs,spammers,campers etc etc

right, i just read every bit of info on your profile... looks interesting. I will probably be getting half life in a few days and I've been looking into doing work for a new HL mod (btw: im a mapper) If all goes to plan on my side of things maybe we could sort something out. If all else fails I may be able to help you to find someone to help out.
