hi i'm wandering wich is the best mod making program to make mods for ut2004 or cod

You dont usually have a program that does it for you

It's called The Mod Maker. The program works in windows, linux and mac os and dos. It can do mods for quite a lot games. You can write, draw and speak or yell into the microphone for the concept of the mod. Then it will pseudo-automatically code, model+skin+animate, sound engineer, and it can also create random levels, so then you don't know is there a monster behind the corner or do you fall into the trap pit if you take one step more...

It depends what you want to make for the game. To start you off for UT2004, have a look at the program that should be in:
UT2004\System\UnrealED.exe

ok, what do you want to do? texture, animate, map, model, mesh, code, or be a visual artist? Because theres a program for each one.

ya its called 3dsmax, and photoshop and visual c++...and like billion map programs

THERE IS NO DO-IT-ALL PROGRAMEY

Unreal engine (all versions) games usually have an almost-complete editing suit called UnrealED. Most to all users of the games usually have it installed already. Hunt for it.

As for CoD, it's more "seperate". The CoD SDK comes with a mapping tool (probably radiant), and compilers for map and model, and maybe script resources.

Yea I have never heard of a do-it-all tool except for in like RTS's and stuff but even then you cant model or anything so yeah you usually have a modeling and a mapping program and thats about all.

Flash and mspaint are prolly the best you can find. Word is a good programming language too.
