Hello,
I'm interested in doing some LP's in the future. I know what I'm gonna use for recording console footage, but I want to know what recorder I should buy to capture pc games. I know of fraps and hyper cam and stuff like that, but I want to know which one is worth buying. If you could leave a suggestion and maybe leave a reason why you think this is the better choice, that would be appreciated.

I suggest you should download the trial versions of each recorder and see for yourself.
Here are some:
:notice: Total Recorder (OK), Camstudio (free, but sucks), FRAPS (too expensive, but works best), 3D Desktop Recorder (don't try it!)

If your doing Source games, Source also has a Source only game recorder.
