Hi there,
I'm developing an indie game (not officialy announced in public yet). It's a top down 2d shooter, inspired in GTA 2 and Hotline Miami. I don't wanna make another idealess clone of theese games, so it won't be only top down game but there will be side view missions, maybe even some 3d missions, side quests like sending a home made rocket into space or browsing an InGame internet.
Here comes my question: "What else do you want in a game?"

I mean, tell me anything you would want in the game.
For example I want a possibility to ride a lawn mower and be able to cut a grass with that. I belive it is a bit stupid idea but I will make it possible there. So tell me really any idea (even the most idiotful idea ever) and if it would be possible, I would probably make it possible.

Thank you for your suggestions

Good story.

Sure, a good story. I'll try to do my best.
But I meant, "what you ever wanted to be able to do in a game but you couldn't"?

I would like to echo what HentryT77 said

A good story is what I want in a game. Some of my favourite moments in gaming was watching the credits roll after games like 'The Walking Dead' and 'To The Moon'

So make cross GTA with SimCity elements. Let player will be able to destroy and buidl buildings and roads.
To make own army and conquer. To found a political movement and go to politics world with support of blood money.
Enough? ;)

But in all seriousness, ideas are pretty easy to come by. It's the implementation that matters.

Ok, good story. I'm keeping in my mind an unserious entertaining story. I hope it will be fun for other people too.Playing in a city the player has built? Yes, that's great idea! I think I'll make a simple map editor for making small maps but it won't be anything like SimCity. Just a "sandbox" for murdering in a custom world.
