Ok I am presently in the process of re-designing modification profiles and i'm wondering what you think they are lacking...

over the years many people have requested things but i have forgotten it all

So nows your chance to tell me... for example i am going to be adding a field "Version No." where you can specify the latest version of your modification if it is released

one thing that would be cool is a "New Content" section.
where you can list all the new content.

Make more prerequisite fields for people who are adding their profiles to ModDB. It gets tiresome when I get a one-sentence description :/

Whilst this is off topic i agree entirely, you have no idea how many mod profiles i have had to delete simply because they have no damn content on them!

if your gonna add your mod to the database, then we are gonna force you to provide alot more information so it at least looks impressive!

System Requirements box would be nice; many mods make use of advanced tutorials which need better computer than the original engine.

make the download link large.

if the mod is not available for download, still make it large, but somehow indicate it is unreleased.

Whether or not a mod requires a game's expansion pack/s and which ones if there a multiple would be useful.

Mature Content flag for individual gallery pics? This makes sure that moddb doesn't get banned on most "Cybersafe" systems for contents of gore, violence and nudity (hmm, maybe not that, but think about those UT mods in the levels of the topless woman on the stained glass like agent x's gallery) and such. It would be unviewable as a guest or member not of age (or unprovided age).

Yeah, we need some gore control around here just in case.. :P

i agree with cheapy...
but the mod owner my not bother marking images with content.. so moderators or admins may have to make visits and do it.

Hey, Turbosquid has it, and it works well :D (it's a model database)

We should also have a "Stupid" marker too so we won't see any insanity like "WE WANT YOU to sniff my vagina" poster in Heist and photos of people in Airsoft Extreme. The images would only be seen by admins because it matters to them as gallery abuse proof (only they get to mark it stupid) :P

The filename of the image would be changed as well to stop the satisfactory after hotlinking (currently, "deleted" gallery images still exist on moddb as their files)

Download size is a good idea
