Hey all, long time gamer and current programming student in school. Learning Java but as odd is it may sound I'm looking to do some website design/development work!

I've been messing around making websites and graphics since I was very young, and was actually originally getting a degree in Web Design but switched to programming 3 months in. I am basically 99% self taught.

Looking to work for a team, single person, group, etc. All mods need a website! I can help build it, updated it, maintain it, you name it!

Here is my experience:

Intermediate - Advanced:

  • HTML/HTML5
  • CSS/CSS3
  • Photoshop CS5 (graphic design, banners, layouts, logos, advertisements, web graphics, etc)
  • SEO (search engine optimization)
  • Social Media Marketing
  • Wordpress (CMS)
  • Wordpress integration

Beginner - Intermediate

  • PHP/mySQL
  • Ruby
  • Javascript

I have lots of experience with many CMS's though Wordpress is my main squeeze.

My tools of trade:

  • Notepad++
  • Sublime Text Editor
  • E-text editor
  • Photoshop CS5
  • Filezilla
  • Niche Finder (by brad callen)
  • Camtasia Studio
  • Sony Vegas (basic understanding)
  • I'm sure they're more things I've missed

Willing to work for free basically, in return that you show me a little on the game development side. I used to map for CS:S (wasn't the best but I got by) and I would be interested to see how a game/mod comes together.

You can just shoot me a pm on here.
Also here is my website which is still under construction but it's partially up: seelooh(dot)com

Hi,

Your portfolio link doesn't have anything in it. Id be interested in seeing some of your markup work in the flesh. Please PM me with some of your work.

I can offer these things in short/long term:-

- Access to a start-up small development team working on a 2d platform game to begin with which will also play in the web browser. We are working in java so I guess this would be a good learning curve for you :)
- Eventual paid contract work.
- The chance to be part of a special start-up studio.

I need to see a fleshed out portfolio though with your best html/css and graphical work. Please remember your portfolio is your bread and butter if you are serious about this.

Thanks,

Pash
