About us:
Project Stealth started out as a mod in 2007, but went indie when the UDK was released. Since then we've exhibited at GamesCom 2009, had a full page preview in the UK's #1 game magazine "PC Gamer UK" and much more.

About the game:
Project Stealth is a multiplayer-only stealth action game. In short, two Spies infiltrate a building filled with passive securiy and two deadly Mercs with even more security and more detection devices. On top of that, the Spies only have stunguns, so it's vital to stay unseen or outsmart the Mercs. A thrilling, tactical game with 3rd person action view (for the Spies) versus 1st person shooter view (for the Mercs) and special gadgets and visions is the result. Our keywords: Tactics, Tension, Stealth, Action, Multiplayer.

What are we looking for:

We're looking for an independent level designer / environmental artist who is able to construct a map in UDK from scratch, from a design document and top-down map overview to creating custom materials with a good normal-map for the walls. The ability to create simple props like boxes and doors is also needed. Light and shadow gameplay is important, so a good grasp of Lightmass is welcome.

Requirements:
- Extensive experience with Unreal Editor with a focus on Lightmass and light/shadow manipulation
- Medior knowledge of the material editor in UDK
- Ability to create simple boxes and props from scratch in a 3D modeling program of your choice, with export functionality to UDK
- Bit of Photoshop knowledge for custom textures
- Worked on an retail game/indie/mod before that got (close to) a release
- Enough time to finish a map in 6 months

Bonus points:
- Bachelor in Multimedia or Art
- Concept art skills, either hand-drawn or computer-aided

Payment:
Form of payment depends on skills and negotiation. Can be free for amateurs wishing to have something good on their CV/resume, royalty for more experienced people or a skill-swap for one of my personal skills (professional web development, high-performance specialty).
