how do u UV map such complex meshes like guns. I can UV map like a cube but i dont know where to start when I'm mapping a rifle. can ne1 help? -- |_( hp )¯| p00nst3r |

i gave up mapping guns hard as hell for me, i strictly halo mapping, deep forest maps, they are tight fool |

Try googling UV Mapping a gun, there are a few tutorials around for different programs. I can't really help any more than that, not being a modeller |

First three links on Google: Again, not being a modeller, I don't know if this is true or not, but if you have an alright knoweldge of how the unwrapper in [insert program here] works then you can probably adopt the same sort of logic to unwrap a gun in that. Or you could export to another program that u can find a tutorial for, unwrap it, then export back |
