[UNREALED] Texture Importing Thread

I need to import a texture from .pcx into a .utx package for Unreal Tournament but cannot figure out how and I have tried all the tutorials I can find but I just can't do it. I am trying to import the texture to use as the screenshot for a map but neither it or the text I enter for the level description will appear. Is there an option or something in the level profiles that needs to be changed or am I doing something wrong?

Right click on empty folder in texutre list, click "Import"

Reinstall Unreal Tournament or patch up, i've never had a fault like this ever.

I can't re-install and I've got 436 GOTYE, I don't think I need to patch up.

What do you mean, 'it won't import'? Do you mean you can't find where to import it, or that you can but you get an error?

I go through the importing process but at the end of it the texture is not in the package.

Maybe a bit late, but there are only two reasons for a texture not to import :
- the 2x scale factor isn't right : be sure your texture is that kind 256*256 or 512*512 or it won't work.
- the color depth is too high (but i doubt it could impech importing).

I can import the textures now but I can't get a screenshot or the level info to appear for my map... I've spoken to shortcutman on msn and ive tried doing exactly what he does to change the level info but with me it wont work... why?
