Hey guys,

I am currently planning to create a 2D Top-Down Adventure/Survival RPG
with a quirky and pixel art style. The premise of the game is that the
protagonist finds theirself washed up on a beach. The game is similar to
Don't Starve however there are different mechanics, styles and
platforms. Your character has the following stats:


Hunger - replenished by eating food (found from plants or animals)

Thirst - replenished by drinking fresh water (fund from a stream or by distilling salt water)

Health - replenishes over time if you have adequate hunger and thirst


Agility - affects your walking speed and your chance to dodge attacks

Strength - affects how hard you hit and what weapons you can use

Intellect - affects what you can craft and wether you can identify items
you find (indetify what the item does and can be used for)


Personality - affects what makes your character happy e.g. if your sadistic then you get joy by killing animals

Happiness - affected by a combination of your actions and personality.
If you are happy then your skills (agility,strength and intellect)
increase faster however if you are unhappy then they decrease rapidly.


Special Ability - Chosen at the start of the game. will give you a buff if you are happy e.g. faster health regeneration


At the end of every day your character has a 'dream'. The dream is a
paragraph of an event in the characters past, starting from their
childhood up to how they got to the Island. At the end of the story you
are given a few choices of what your character does next. The next dream
may be effected by your previous actions. your choices may also change
your personality. There is also a small chance that you suffer from a
nightmare which will cause you to be unhappy and dehydrated when you
wake up.


There will be a resource mining system, such as chopping down trees and
mining ores from rock. There will also be a crafting system and crafting
tree where you may have needed to, for example, created a wooden spear
before you can create a stone spear. Your intellect will also effect
what you can craft.

I, myself, am an artist and would be able to covere all graphic related aspects of the game. As for the Sound Composer, I would recruit one at a later stage as trying to produce music before we have graphics would be ineffective.

I would hope for a mobile release on mobile systems such as IOS and Android. So the language would need to have high compatibility, I have been told that C++ or C# would be the ideal language here however I am open to suggestions. The programmer does not need to have any prior experience but having knowledge of mobile systems and their chosen language would be essential.
