Hi creative folks,
I am a hobbyist game developer. Everything I develop I do in my free time, because I have a full time job. After playing around and gathering ideas and impressions for a while I decided to finish a project for a change.
So my current project is a mixture of Letter Quest and Pixel Kingdom. This said here some important information on the project.

What it is:

  • A Project I use for educational purposes

What it is not:

  • A project which will ever be sold (in the near future)

Unfortunately with my job I do not have the time to learn and create all the artwork needed for my game. So,

Who am I looking for:

  • A person who will create some 2D-Sprites and animations
  • I am looking for anybody who is as passionate about creating games as I am
  • Especially if you are a beginner and looking for some project where you can learn something and improve your skills
  • Unfortunately you will have to be willing to work on a voluntary basis, unpaid

You shall not work entirely for free.

What you get:

  • You can have all the source code and project files
  • Your name will appear anywhere the game does
  • If this project ought to be sold some day you will get 50% revenue

Plus you get to decide about anything concerning the art in the game. You want it to be pixel graphics or Vector you can do anything you want. You want to make another zombie game or just a fantasy world, just do what you are happy with! Of course I have some ideas of my own, still you shall get all the freedom in this project you want!

What exactly do I need:

  • There are 8 different, animated characters in the project. Each has 3 unique animations (Move, Attack and Die). As .png spritesheet
  • One Single menu background
  • One button skin, no text

I have implemented the all the basic functionalities needed so far. Right now I am using some ugly placeholders. But I will add some descriptive in game footage later this week. If you are interested please PM me or contact me via mail to "581egliese(at)googlemail.com"
