Hello

Metal Fatigue intro
Metal Fatigue gameplay

Metal Fatigue is an RTS. It featured customizable giant robots and a multilayer battlefield. There were however never any updates as the company was sold before the game was released, and never a sequel.

I want to make a "spiritual sucessor" or whatever they're called. Kind of like how Bioshock is the spiritual sucessor to System Shock.

-Customizable giant robots

Each robot is consist of five parts, one head, a torso, two arms and a pair of legs.

-Vehicles

Vehicles would exist but they are small in comparison to the robots, and they'd have other functions than just damage dealing. Some would function like suicide bombers that robots could use as grenades, or bomb air craft use them as bombs, or they could just go out and explode. Trapper vehicles and so on. Vehicles would function a little like "spells", they'd buff, debuff, trap and so on. Yes there'd be pure damage vehicles as well.

-Multi level battlefield

This might be difficult to pull off, but I'd like to try. Essentially it would mean that the battlefield have several layers, for example, a bridge that one unit can stand on and then another unit is underneath, or a tunnel through a mountain that units can travel in and then units on top of the mountain.

-To scale buildings

Faction buildings would be small but city buildings would be huge, and it would actually show.

That's my vision of the game, but I don't require all of it with a snap of the fingers, I would just like to get started on a small demo at first. So now I'm looking for a person competent with the unity engine, and someone who's a good 3D modeler and animator, for the robots.

I'm practicing 3D modeling and would do mainly buildings, I have a concept artist and some sort of concept art to show, but it's old and we've decided to take a different route with the design, altough it's still somewhat what we are aiming for.

So do is there anyone who want to help? Do you know someone that was interested in Metal Fatigue and would perhaps be interested in this? Or do you have any improvements to this post? Please do share.

Here's some of the concept art, some changes have happened but it mostly resembles this.
