Under what class / category is a Golem? Thread

Are golems in the warrior class of a monster class?

To be specific I am talking about golems are semi-intelligent and use weapons that are molded from their arms (where their hands would be).

It's a potentially hostile servant. It does whatever it's master has told it to do.. but in some conditions could turn against the master (and everything else in sight). More details about them in wikipedia: En.wikipedia.org

I was going to say, usually constructs. A golem fits the role of a minion, like a robot. From a fantasy perspective, a golem's function depends entirely on the spell used to animate it. So having a golem behave like a warrior and wielding a sword and shield, kind of like the Terra Cotta soldiers in China, is reasonable.
