There should be a "general" tutorials type, i dunno how to classify a tutorial which consists from few different parts :P

Mult-skill Based Tutorial, Skill Crossing Tutorials, though General is good for an over-topic to be used in the mean-time I'm just thinking that others may see general as simple, and thus become crowded with innumerable topics that are meant to go elsewhere.

It would be a good idea, though, where this falls in line necessarily I do not know, as most tutorials of this sort could be broken into parts, if you want to know how to model this and then place it in your game to work this way, then it is the first part modeling, the second part programming or whatever.

Thats a good idea, becasue if I wanted to make a tutorial for mapping in worldcraft, it could also be applied to valve hammer editor. The same goes for modelling.
