I need some help. I want to decide wether to run with two X1300 PRO or one x1600 pro card. I just want better speed and graphics, and I'm not sure which way to go. I'm not good with hardware.

Thanks for any help!

I'm not up to date with the exact versions in question, but the general rule of thumb is you'll get more frames-per-second buying one expensive card, than from spending the same amount on two lesser cards. Crossfire is really aimed at people rich enough to buy two top-end cards, average folk are generally better off with the best single card they can afford.

i'd wait until they make actual better cards that don't rely on multiple instances of itself. Pulling a 3dfx nowadays is dumb.

I've heard X1300s are utterly terrible anyway. Go for the X1600.

Okay, thanks. I'm getting so confused when trying to get some hardware (allthough, most things I can actually afford goes out of stock really fast)
