i got my new pcgamer in the mail today, and it does have a cover story on hl2. the images are soooo nice (not like the sheisty ones stuck up on the net that look all chalky and stuff) even though all they talk about was the amazing physics, and how newell just laughed at them when they asked about story, it is still amazing.

i have seen the light, i will now commence to salivate like a rabid rabbit until sept. 30, along with the rest of you ignorant fools

my scanner wont work with win 2000 (the machine its hooked up on)... so until i get a new scanner, no images for you

Pah, I don't do Half-Life hype. None of the graphics is worth it and it's all blab about the graphics and the ambitious AI that will fail (just like HL1).

Pages of hype I won't read. Pages that actually help me purchase the correct game (reviews) and hardware tips (hard stuff) and the bit of a laugh (the story box at the bottom-right of the last page) is what I expect in a PC Gamer.

And oh, I don't order the demo CD's.

ummmm, not sure... i think all of them have pretty much been scanned... i think there is like one or two concept sketches that havent been, but thats all...

and cheapie, the demo cd's rule! i was having so much fun playing freelance, im gonna go out and buy it (notice the lack of quotation marks)

no, i just had a blast playing the demo, and think the games single player is worth my money...

its games like ut2k3 where i would only use it for mods or mp that i dont want to have to buy... i think if a developer works to make an engaging sp game, its worth me buying

I cant understand buying games if you want to play online and need a proper key, but buying a game thats not all about the online play is madness.
