Not really a good idea, because of copyright laws, and its not original at all. Try making an original mod, once its finished, you'll feel a lot prouder.

Bethesda ARE C&D heads, and you can't do MMORPGS on hl2's engine (or any quake engine for that matter.) Maps can only go as far as -/+ 16384 units in HL2, so that doesn't allow for any massiveness :|

Besides, how would you get a massive amount of players anyway?

Not to mention, we can just play Elder Scrolls 3 regularly and still get the same experience from that MMORPG atmosphere. I actually like how they go the extra distance to make it seem as so.

Agreed; no sense in making the game over again. I think you COULD make a mmorpg with just the SDK and not the actual engine..probably by using zones and having servers that characters skip to once the go to the boundaries of another zone.

Elder Scrolls games aren't designed for MMO. They are, have been, and always will be non-linear single-player RPGs if Bethesda have anything to say about it.

Don't ever do a MMORPG of Elder Scrolls, it will just turn into another gay everquest clone. Second it will be a waste of money paying monthly fees if its a game.
