Short introduction
Hello, I'm Beastenator, I've been working with a small team on a tactical first person shooter: "The Outcasts". The main goal of the project is to build up portfolios and thus serve as a gateway towards more professional studios.
After completion "The Outcasts" will be released and all those helping in the process will be compensated. There is no payment while developing however.

Story

The story is set in the future.
On the human colony, Aether XII, conflicts arise over the few remaining livable areas. Greed and oppression control the world while the people struggle to survive. Three big congregations have formed and war for land and freedom.

You are Ryan Miller, Leader of the 7th Guardians of Aether (GuA) squad. Your job is to defend your homeland against rivaling congregations to keep calmth and content among the civilians. But as you advance through the game you notice that nothing is what it seems. Your leader is corrupt, greedy and wants to take control over Aether through bloodshed and indoctrination.

Righteous by nature, Ryan and his squad decide to revolt against the oppression, but will those actions really change the world, or will it just cause you to become outcasts?

Open positions

Programmer (UScript)
Must be able to code:
- Weapons and associated scripts (Damagetypes, projectiles, Ammo,...)
- Custom volumes

Allround 3D Artist (High Need)
- Able to model a variety of Weapons, Props and any other game assets.
- Character modeling is a plus but not a nescessity.

Concept Artist
- Has an understanding of low poly modeling

2D ArtistLevel Design (UDK)
- Deep knowledge of kismet and the material editor
- Able to create advanced blockouts in less than 5 days.
