Suggestions for DOD Mod Thread

Hi again all!

I have noticed something about Mods for Half Life, even in original games without mods, and this is 'you can't shoot through walls'.

It would be very nice to be able to shoot at an enemy, and take him out by a wall shot. This is very realistic, it can be done.

So whats up with that anyway? I have played Rogue Spear, and you can shoot through doors, and I have killed many terrorists this way, even cleared a room once or twice. I think adding this realistic feature would add to the overall dimension of a game, especially with DOD.

Depends on the subject matter of the game. For a more realistic mod, it is essential, but for others.. not so much, it's optional.

Its already in DoD. I've gotten wall shots before, but its only certain surfaces, eg a door. Its not like you can shoot through stone, which is most of the games surfaces.

You can shoot through walls in counter-strike too.

WIF CHEATS.. and you can shoot through SOME walls normaly

actually, i get owned by everyone i spend my cash on a big-ass gun and get sniped when i leave the room.

I think not all weapons in CS get through the surfaces.. I'm not pretty sure though; I played Counter-Strike a long time ago.
