Streets Of Rage Half Life Mod Thread

Looking for people who can make maps, models, skins and can code etc.

Will there be a 2D camera?

Half-Life isn't quite the engine to shoot for, for a brawler...

i want it 3rd person perspective because UEI are doing a version of streets of rage 4 with the 2d camera so i thought if we do it my way then Sega will be able to decide how to do a 4th Streets Of Rage.

It goes a little something like this(maybe)- Adams kid brother Skate(or Sammy in US) is kidnapped by the syndicate. Adam gets a phonecall from an unknown caller asking if he'll be able to take over the syndicate.(But if Mr.X is dead who could it be???). Adam refuses.
The phone goes dead........................BOOM!
The door is kicked in and 5 thugs trash the place(as well as adams face)
and leave him .
he phones blaze and axel to come see him.
they go see him and then go searching on the......................................................
STREETS OF RAGE

You dont want to use an old engine at this late stage.

Go for Half Life 2 or UT2K3.

id try ut2k3, really

I need a team of:
Coders,
Mappers,
Modellers,
Skinners etc.

Also the reason why i am doing it on Half Life Engine is because we will see how it works for this one and then if it does well with the public then a sequel may be in hand on the Half Life 2 engine.

You are aware how long it takes to make a mod?

around a year

Are you aware people will be more bothered to play a hl2 mod over a hl mod.

I would try unreal tourney 2k3 I think itd be better for this type of mod but either one would be good
