Hello, Well I've been interested in starting my own game for a while now, but haven't put much thought into it, it may be a long shot, but it is something I really do want to pursue. Here's a detailed description on the type of game I'm hoping to develop. Game: I'm trying to go with a medieval/Olden times theme kind of like runescape, with many Skills/Stats to train to occupy a players time and keep them playing!, The game would start as a simple Online RPG and eventually evolve into an MMORPG in which we could charge for Membership/V.I.P, etc.. This game hasn't had too much thought thrown into it, but I'm still working very hard at by Learning Java and jotting down my ideas. Skills/Stats: Here are a few of my ideas of skills/stats for players: (All skills/stats will start at level one, the skill/stat will be mastered at level 100, your combat level will increase when Combat-based stats are leveled up (Melee,Archery,Sorcery) Melee Stats: Other Attack Forms: Skills: I have many more ideas, but these ideas will be submitted to the team, and get there feedback on it! So I'm trying to put a team together, in which I will explain further on about. Myself: I've been recently studying Java, and a bit of 2D/3D modeling, once I have finished learning Java, I'll move on to C/C++, and continue on from there. Team: I'm looking for many experienced coders/level designers/modelers. First of all I'd need someone/people that are experienced with C/C++/Java, another person/people that are expirienced with PhotoShop and level design and have much creativty/imagination, and last I'd need someone/people that are experienced with PhotoShop, and many other Modeling Programs such as AutoDesk 3ds Max. (It'd be very helpful if Team Members would throw in there ideas for the game) This is about as much as I'll post, much more details will be submitted to the team, if you are needing anymore informations, just ask. |
