Starcraft Mod Thread

I understand Starcraft Ghost is coming out for a few different consoles in late November, but nevertheless it would be pretty sweet if someone made a starcraft deatmatch. I can already think of so many ideas.

i was thinking of making a sp mod for half life where u play as a terran marine, but i have a bunch of ideas for mods i want to make this summer who knows witch one i will decide on

I doubt Blizzard would even care... Unless Valve got a hold of it and started selling it then it would become an issue.

one team already tried to do this with blizzards consent, they were denied and progress stopped

needless to say, dont use blizzard products, but that shouldnt stop you from changing things around

well i can still call the person a marine, and ill just make a bunch of zerg like models and never really say what the're called, and i wont even bother with the protoss since i hate them for some reason im still not sure of, but like i said ill probly end up making some other mod

I wanted a mod like this also, multi play. Kind of set up like NS, where a comm is the maker of the base, he can tell you what to do, you turn into a ghost/dragoon/mutalisk. W3WT for SC! Just try to get Blizzards approval for it... say stuff like "this will further promote your game by making it readily aviable to people who do not yet have starcraft, but because they will like it, we intend on making this the same as possible, they will go out and buy your previous and upcoming SC or even other games that you mass-produce. Therefore they will be more envolved in your community as well as ours."
