Hi All

Wanted to share my Level Design Blog at Fpsleveldesign.blogspot.com that I've been writing as I build my new map series.

This blog is focussed on the player experience. How to make that as good as it can be within an SP map.
For the most part I avoid editor tutorials and get past all the nuts and bolts of mapping. I'm more interested in bringing all that editor knowledge together into an exciting and fun experience for the player.

What methods are used in SP map design (weapon progression, player gating etc...) and what considerations should be kept in mind when starting a new map?

The method for developing SP maps is hugely different to MP mapping and I felt it deserved a little attention based on what I've learned over the years.
