Hi All Wanted to share my Level Design Blog at Fpsleveldesign.blogspot.com that I've been writing as I build my new map series. This blog is focussed on the player experience. How to make that as good as it can be within an SP map. What methods are used in SP map design (weapon progression, player gating etc...) and what considerations should be kept in mind when starting a new map? The method for developing SP maps is hugely different to MP mapping and I felt it deserved a little attention based on what I've learned over the years. Have a read and let me know what you think.
