LiveLike is hiring Software Engineers/Game Developers! Must be willing to relocate to San Francisco. We do not consider remote applicants or agencies.


Location: We work out of the beautiful and outrageously fun city of San Francisco, California so we are only accepting applicants that are willing to relocate or that already live in the area.


Company Description:

LiveLike is a new and growing San Francisco based startup building an application to watch live sports in Virtual Reality (VR). We have developed a unique user experience that allows avid sports fan to be teleported to their favorite stadiums to watch games from a custom made VIP suite. Our small and eclectic team is composed of people from all over the world and we follow the modern mantras of a modern Silicon-Valley worthy workplace. We have an autonomous and self determined approach to our work which does not stop us from working hard and cohesively.

At LiveLike we have the once in a lifetime opportunity to start replacing TV as the go-to medium for fans around the world. We are hiring new team members who are interested in making that happen!

Requirements:

- Game development experience (industry preferred, side/school projects ok)

- 3D math knowledge

- Proficient in one of the following: C#, C++, or Java

- Has a feel for great design and UX

- Excited about the VR space & working for a startup


Nice to Haves (In order of importance):

- Experience with Game Engines like Unity/Unreal

- Mobile experience

- Startup experience

- VR experience

- Knowledge of Video Streaming & Encoding technologies


Responsibilities:

- Build the front-end application in Unity & C#

- Work with designer to identify UX challenges and rapidly prototype new ideas in the untested VR space

- Depending on the mobile & VR platform, will have to write platform code in C++, Java and/or Objective C

- Work with back-end and video solutions engineers to integrate live video into the application


Compensation includes salary and equity based on interest and background. Salary range is between 85 - 120K. We are still a small team so equity packages will be significant.
