So I just finished my first Indie game.. What Next? Thread

Hello Everyone,

We're new to the indie development scene and released our first game few days back.

The game is called ROTO: A Simple Circular Puzzle and is available for Android Devices.

The game has won a few awards since it's prototype stage for it's simple, yet engaging gameplay.

Also, what advices do you have for a new startup. I have different questions ranging from What parts do I need to concentrate on? What different ways can one use to get their game to public? to all sorts.. Any and all advices are welcomed. Also, if you're finding any problem with this game, please notify me.

The best advice I could give is to stay active on all sorts of gaming/developer forums. Put your game in your signature. Tell your friends!

Add your game to slidedb for an extra way for people to locate your game, ^ stay active but dont join to just post a single thread about your game, forums are not the best way to gain exposure, twitter / facebook / games listings get far more visits than forums will ever get you.

So, the game is close to 5000 downloads and we got some features recently

but the game is slowly declining since past few days. What can i do to keep it alive?

Awesome that your game is doing so well! That's really great . We've not yet released our game so probably don't have any useful tips for keeping the sales momentum up. Have you tried doing a giveaways or chatting to game podcasters to get the word out?
