Hello everyone.

I am developing a videogame designed for Android. The game is quite deep and I wonder:

1- A game posted at slidedb is shown at indiedb automaticly?
2- The game is going to be at googleplay, that means slidedb, but if people like it, I'm going to build a PC version, Could I do a indiedb post for PC and android without been sure about PC release, or just for Android and port it in the future?

1. Yes if you set the project type as "INDIE" not "AAA".

2. To note, Slide DB is much less popular than Indie DB. You could promote your app only on SDB initially, then do a PC port anyway to gain much more exposure for your game through Indie DB and other media channels. If the PC version proves to be well-made, this should benefit both the app and the desktop release. At least that's the suggestion.

Thanks mate, nice reply. The point that worries me about the PC version is the controller, just two keys. The game is deep enough but I am not sure how people will take it.

You don't necessarily have to make a simple PC port.

The main thing would be to re-release the game rather than just port it, tweak or even expand it to satisfy the target PC audience, but that would take time and effort. Well it'd be your own choice in the end, whether release it on Android only, or do a PC port or re-release/expand it for PC. Seems like you have 3 basic choices.

Sure, I know it but controller and playability is not an option to tweak or expand, it means to remake the entire GDD, and that's not an option. Time enough to make other game ;).

Quite so. Android-only release or Android + simple PC port would be the only options left for you. :-) It could look mildly bad if you promised a PC port in the news article but didn't actually deliver it.

Yes, that's the point. I have to decide PC port before go indiedb :). Thanks so much
