Simpsons Mod? Thread

It would be cool don't you think? You could pick your character and live the life of a simson. It would be for Half-Life, with all your favorite charcters. The models would be cartoony the maps would be like the ones from the show etc.

Okay, As if you all haven't gotten it yet, your supposed to be original. Im make a mod where Dead has his Hentai, z4o has a CD from his band, and hate has a cane made out of toothpicks. Im gunna have a Beretta 98 FS Inox and a clip for each one of ya. Theres originality.

has anyone made a simsons mod on half life before??? No, so how the hell was that not original???? And if everyone made mods that fitted your definiton, who the hell besides your retarded ass would play them?

Well, for one thing, the Simpsons is a popular TV show. There are even a few games made based on it. This is just as original as making another DBZ mod!

Just try to think of something original and take more than one sentence explaining what it's about. Don't just say 'Cool mod, would have two teams killin eachother with akimbo desert eagles!'

Original mods can be very fun. It's not like the only one who ever plays them is the person who made them. I mean, look at TeamFortress for Quake! It was incredibly original, tons of people played it and it spawned off many clones and near-clones including TFC; and mods like CS and DoD were even based on the same idea.

see Xcentric look at all those words you just wrote now hold on to them firmly... got them now see heres where it gets complex, I want you to shove all those words up your ass. Oh and DoD wasnt really original oh wow a WW2 mod now thats original.

The difference between this and DoD, is that DoD was a very realistic, new type of play. not just a CS clone with guns from 1943

yep there was one but it got foxed, i would say if its related to fox don't do it, will just put you through pain and regret.

You could make a cartoony cel shaded game similar to the comedy/violence of the Simpsons. Create your own characters and what not. At least it would be original.
