ShadowMan problem Thread

I just installed ShadowMan, but when I launch the game, nothing happens. I think the last time I played it was when I had windows 98, now I have XP... Is it some XP problem? Are there some fixes available?

Oh yeah! I googled for a shadowman fix and then I randomly chose a web site from the sites found. I found a nocd fix and the exe from that fix launches the game on XP

On a second thought, it's a bit crappy... some sounds are not played and I can't view the info file about the serial killers, if I try to view the item, then game crashes and gets me back to windows, writes an error file that says this:

ShadowMan: ***************** FATAL ERROR **************************
ShadowMan: FolderInit: Unable to initialise text markup
ShadowMan: ***************** FATAL ERROR **************************

I guess it's not finding something...

On a third thought, the fix I got is crappy. I got a new one and it works. In case someone gets same problem with ShadowMan with Windows XP, I suggest you check Gamecopyworld.com for a fix.
