[Server down?] Download freeze at 0% Thread

Using Window 7
Game: Xenonauts Premium

I try to download and install the game, but after a long waiting for vaildating, the game download freeze at 0% with no data download.
I don't know is this a server maintain problem or what.

I will really be happy to be inform about what cause the problem even it won't fix the problem.

I've had download problems with them for a few weeks now. Tried disabling firewall and virus killer. Not sure if the servers are busy or what?

i have the same problem , im new and i dont know how to fix it....i turned firewall down and antivirus but still not working...

After many many tries I did manage to get my download going at one point. But then I carelessly cancelled it to see if it was a fluke or if they had fixed something their end. And it seems it was a fluke. I can't make it work again.
That's what makes me wonder if their servers are busy? if something on my computer was blocking it it shouldn't have worked the time it did?

I have had issues like this for a couple weeks now but they usually dont persist. Server load perhaps?

Ya I just tried downloading 3 of the games I just got from the new IndieRoyal bundle and I just keep getting errors.

yeah I want to buy that for Squids but there's not really all that much point if I can't download it.

I just managed to get 150mb of my 1.15gb download before it died again. It's going to be a long day!
I might just have to write an AutoIt script to hit retry for me and go an watch a movie.

I keep getting the same error messages.

Aargh! I've been downloading for 5 hours clicking retry on many errors and in the 90's percent it came up witgh an error with no retry option

I'm having the same problem. Hopefully this is resolved soon.

It sucks that this is happening. The only reason I downloaded Desura is to actually play some of the other games I get through the bundles that don't have steam keys. It looks like it has a pretty strong community and one I could try out more. Just hope I can actually download my games sometime soon.

DazeOfWar, if it makes you feel better this is the first time I have seen any kind of problem like this in almost a year of Desura use, so it's not exactly a "normal" situation. Hopefully they get it fixed soon.

Thanks for the reasurance cecilkorik. I figured it wasn't normal. I have plenty of other games to play for now so not to worried. Just sucks at the moment.

Same issue for me, I just got gnomeria, but it's stuck at Validating for about 10 years and then gets stuck on 0% download.

we are working on this at present, should have a fix shortly. in the mean time you can directly download the games via your Secure.desura.com page

if we download it via secure will it still work in our desura client program? they only reason I started using desura is so I could more easily keep track of my indieroyale games. Also, if it is a process is there any tutorial on it cause I don't want to dl 30 something games only not be able to link them to my client.

Any update at all? Perhaps even let us know what's going on otherwise we might suspect a hacking and start getting paranoid about our personal details...

Desura is still in the crapper currently (for anyone else checking up)

We know the issue it is just a matter of fixing it and making sure it wont happen again.
