Team name: Blue Comet Games Project name: Acro Storm Brief description: Acro Storm is a high speed weapons racer, similar in spirit to games such as WipEout, Extreme G Racing, and F-Zero (although the last has no weapons, it's certainly fast). Featuring a cast of characters with expressive and individual personalities, we intend to have a game that entices with both fun gameplay and narrative. The characters in question are generally rather expressive and are vocal. The art style is more cel-shaded/toonist than anything else- in particular to be akin more to Ratchet and Clank/Jak and Daxter sort of fare. Here's a bit of a WIP (really more of just a physics test and such. Wow-zen.com ) The bike's a bit unwiedly, but you can adjust that via the sliders in the buttons to the left. Target aim: Right now, we just want to get the game made. It'd be fantastic if we could get it on Steam or something like that, though, and that'll certainly be discussed later on down the road. Technology: Talent needed: As our character modeler quota has been filled, we have recently come across the need for a couple of people - primarily that of a track/level concept artist to assist in creation of the area design. You will have a design document complete with intended track areas as well as examples for the types of course we desire should you agree to assist, so you won't be coming in blind. The programmer would need to understand bike physics as it relates to the aforementioned high speed games, and be able to communicate with the lead consistently. Team structure: Website: Bluecometgames.net Contacts: Directly via Email: fowlerck@hotmail.com or bluecometgames@hotmail.com Additional Info: If you're interested in doing something not mentioned, let us know anyway- you never know. Thank you for your time. Update with video: Edited by: BlueCometGames |
