Hello, I'm Hateburn. I've been tinkering with Source software for about 4 years now and finally have learned that this is the place to go to learn and thrive in the world of developing. I started working on a small single player mod with the source engine, nothing fancy, just some mapping and choreography. Files were deleted accidentally and a year later, I started working again. No choreography and I haven't gotten as far, but yeah, I know the basics to having a game work. (It appears that I cannot link my video for my game. It is located on my profile in the videos section. I will post it here after 6 days :D)
I have yet to record with scenes in the game, which for me, are the best triggers of all and make the game (if you have a supporting npc or npc's in general). I also dabbled with machinima type work, which I can't say I have any really good sources for what I do with that. All I ever worked on was hl2 characters singing songs, and my most recent work was Dr. Breen singing Dream On - Aerosmith. I was never able to record any of my earlier stuff with any kind of reasonable quality because my computer was junk. My new computer was able to handle the quality problems, but it was impossible to make anything of value because FacePoser would not run correctly (not the auto-extraction, it lagged to hell. I never auto-extract). Now I am back to XP...beautiful, beautiful XP, and I am able to record things with quality and make proper videos.

I also do have some knowledge of L4D mapping and mechanics. The video is not yet processed and I am uploading here for a second time now. It processed and had some error or something.

Anyway, I would love to join a dev team as a mapper or choreographer or both even!

Some examples of both kinds of your work would be nice.

I'm going to go ahead and work on something rather small but with good quality. It should be up by the time I'm able to post links.
Something new should be alright, I think.
